Bringing the halloween vibe for 2020, Fetch threw a 7 hour live stream of DJ's where I had the pleasure of throwing down for one of the early segment. Enjoy!
I have an opportunity to DJ the "Isolation Station" live event a second time for all those abiding by under Stay-At-Home orders. There was an all new rig set up at the Kelcema Audio shop that was totally awesome as a streaming source! Unfortunately there were a lot of issues with the actual stream itself that night, but I still captured the recording.
On Saturday night Fetch virtualized another Fetch event due to Stay-At-Home orders. I was back in the Kalcema Audio shop with an all new mini-stage and lighting rig streamed out to Twitch, YouTube and VRChat!
On Saturday I did a set for as part of a global live DJ event called "Isolation Station" that has DJ's participating from the home to an audience trapped at home under Stay-At-Home orders. I did my set from the Kalcema Audio shop on a full stage rig some friends put together which made this a whole lot cooler!
Live from The Underground in Seattle, house, club, retro and electro house set from the Fetch "Love Bites" 2020 event. Very intimate venue with a great lighting rig and awesome bar tenders. Very fun party!
Live set from Further Confusion 2020, Thursday Night opening in the Marriott. Had a great lineup of following Lapin Blanc, another house and retro enthusiast!
Live set from the Inagural Furvana 2019 in Ocean Shores, Washington! Small crowd and venue was fun, and it was quite the surprise to have the power go out in the middle of the show, but the music didn't stop!
Live Saturday night from Reno at BLFC 2019! The crowd was super hype and it shows in this retro-infused mix of popular house and club music!
Live from the Jewelbox Theater in The Rendezvous in Seattle, house, club and electro house set from the Fetch Bark Loud SpeakEasy event. This was the more traditional dance floor while the swing hangout happened downstairs. Great little venue, very fun party!
Had the opportunity to fill in a late night cancellation on Thursday night at FC this year. Nice intmiate venue with a super hip crowd. The DJ before me was a newcomer who rocked the crap out of some retro and rock remixes, so I kept the vibe going with my latest new and retro remixes. Had a great time but also lost the originally recording. Posted here is a remake of set best I could from the track list I pull from a camera recording afterwards. Enjoy!
The Fetch crew put together a big private party on a boat in Seattle that cruised Lake Union and Lake Washington for three hours. I was the second DJ on the boat with a sweet downstairs bar and dance floor. Here is the set that I did on the boat!
Friday night at BLFC was so hot we fried the video wall! But the music was hoppin' all night. This is the live recording of my set just after Audiodile on the main stage.
Saturday evening there was a 3-DJ Silent Disco (Radio wireless Headphones only) event for a couple hours. I have not done an event like this before, but it was a lot of fun and the audience was very cool!
Late Friday night I had the opportunity to play another hour of Happy Hardcore. This was a mix of requests and a few classic favs!
This year I opened up Saturday Night with a bit more heat than I would typically. Enjoy this journey from club & house through to trap!
I was forunte to attent FWA for the first time this year and invited to be part of a great lineup with my friends Dune and Skroy for the deaddog party on Sunday night. The recording unfortunately did not work, but I was able to recreate the set later based on some low quality videos from the set. It was a little crazy, but fun! I hope you enjoy listening!
I was invited to help close out MFF this year by kicking off the Deaddog party on Sunday night. Unfortunately my good friend DJ Spots who was to follow me ended up having equipment issues and only one of his decks was working reliably, so we ended up doing an impromptu tag team set with his one good deck. Much shennanigans followed... Thanks to Oddy for providing the live room mixed down audio. The video is more fun to watch on the tag team IMO :) Enjoy!
First time for everything! While "EarVevlet" was not DJing at BLFC this year, I was invited to be the "Liquid" DJ for the BLFCorp themed opening set Saturday Night entitled "Echoes of the BLFCorp". To truly give my all to the theme I performed the entire set as Hilyte the Liquid Saber DJ, a fully UV reactive bright neon saber toothed tiger. The theme was top 40 remixes from the 80s through today. I wouldn't have made it but for the wonderful blower fans next to me stage, Whew!!
EarVelvet Live from VancouFur 2016 at the Executive Airport Plaza Hotel in Vancouver, BC, Saturday night! Following up on a great house DJ, I had the opportunity to turn things up for a friend who was headline DJ for the weekend.
EarVelvet Live from FC 2016 at the San Jose Convenciton Center, Saturday night! Had a great opportunity to kick off Saturday night so I mixed it up a bit until everyone settled in and the things got to jumpin! The setup for this gig was amazing! Hands down the best audio I've ever had for a show!
EarVelvet Live from RF 2015 at the Seattle Airport Hilton, Saturday night! I had the unexpected opportunity for a short set of some new music to fill in for a good friend who was forced to cancel last minute due to work.
Together again the dynamic duo of EarVelvet and DJ Akonite bring the Ham Sammich live to the stage for RF2015 in Seattle! It was uncertain this was happening until a couple hours before, so watch and enjoy the hilarity of unprepared chaos and new music!
Earvelvet live from the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino for BLFC 2015! A high energy set of club and electro house for an amazing audience that went all night! The live audio was a bit overdriven (on Video) so I my best at a higher quality reproduction for the mp3 download/mixcloud below. Enjoy!
Earvelvet live from Sharton Novi in Detriot Michicgan for MCFC 2015! By some miracle I didn't mess up the recordings this time. It was a small audience late night show so I took some liberties with tunes that I enjoyed and may have thrown in some Drum & Bass for my own entertainment. I had a lot of fun doing this one, how you enjoy it also!
Earvelvet live from The Intercontinental in Dallas Texas for Friday night of TFF 2015! I did of course screw up the audio recording but was able to piece it back together thanks to Oddy, so here below are the live audio and video from that performance. Enjoy!
Live from the San Jose convention center on Friday night of FC2015. I once again screwed up the recordings, so if you want to hear the live show, it is in the video. By request, I have done my best to faithfully recreate the live set as a clean audio recording based off what was on the audio track of the video that was captured. Enjoy!
Better late than never, here is the board recording and video (until YouTube pulls it) of a live tag-team set between myself (EarVelvet) and ValleyRux. This was Valley's first time doing a live tag-team with another DJ and I'd say he nailed it. Give it a listen and see what you think!
Two live recordings from BLFC 2014 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, NV. The first is an Impromptu Happy Hardcore set I did Friday night/Saturday morning at 2am. The second is a live set from 10pm Saturday night featuring 45 minutes from me (EarVelvet) followed by 30 minutes of Tag Team (HAM SAMMICH) with my buddy Akonite, and finished out with 45 minutes from Akonite. The videos below are a mix of the board recording and natural audio, the audio files are just the board recording.
This is a remake of the live performance from the San Jose Convention Center on Friday night 1/17/2014. I had enough comments from those wanting a clean version for download. The board recording had a problem and only got one channel clean but you can hear it on the video. The downloadable remake is as faithfully as I could reproduce the live set, in stereo, without the board mic for easier listening :)
This is a remake of the live performance from the grand ballroom of the Hyatt Regency O'Hare on Saturday night 11/23/2013. The set was themed to be modernized retro tunes, mostly electro or club remixes or mashups. The original board recording is contained in the video and includes some natural audio and mic from the board. For a clean remake download the audio only file.
The gouls and goblins have moved on and the rain is falling, that must mean it is time to release the Q3 Rewind! If you don't already have some of these tunes well in hand from the warmth of fall, there is still time to put them in your crate and bring the heat for winter! This is two and half hours of house, electro, a little progressive and a bonus dubstep tacked on to the end that you must have if you're spinning dubstep this year. Keep warm, keep dry, and don't forget to pick up your favorite tunes from your outlet of choice to support these artists!
This is the live recording from the main ballroom of the Seattle Airport Hilton Convention Center on Saturday night 9/28/2013. The performance is a tag-team between DJ Akonite (Vancouver, BC) & EarVelvet (Vancouver, USA).

This is the live recording from the main ballroom of the Executive Hotel on Friday night 3/1/2013. The performance is a tag-team between DJ Akonite (Vancouver, BC) & EarVelvet (Vancouver, USA).
Live from the upper room at the Agenda Lounge in downtown San Jose - Frolic took over the club upstairs and down and packed it with gear clad and furry people and the hottest partiers in San Jose. This is the live recording of my set from 10:30pm to Midnight that evening upstairs!
This is the live recording from the main ballroom of the San Jose Convention Center on Friday night 1/18/2013. The performance is a tag-team battle dubbed North vs South for DJ Akonite (Vancouver, BC) vs EarVelvet (Vancouver, USA). Also included is the video recording with natural audio mic mixed in for extra entertainment.
A little ahead of schedule, Part 1 is full of plenty of house and club music. Part continues with the electro house and club for the first half and is full of plenty of good progressive house, trance and a few dubstep, trap and D&B tunes to finish off. Don't forget, with the rare exception of some bootlegs, all these tracks are available for purchase, find what you like and go support the artists! Have a safe and happy New Year!
The third quarter of 2012 was filled with plenty of retro electro remixes and solid house tunes along with a strong first coming of the 110 genre and an abundance of progressive house and trance. Part 1 is rapid sampling of House, Club and Electro (transitions are harsh here). Part 2 starts with a couple 110 tracks and moves through several progressive house tunes, finishing off with a couple dubstep tunes and a very finishes fast with a D&B track.
Live recording from Friday night at Rainfurrest at the airport Hilton in Seattle. The crowd was super high evergy and a lot of fun, I hope you didn't miss it! But if you did, here is the recording...
Better late than never!(?) Most of these tunes are old news now, but the second quarter of 2012 was chalk full of good tunes. Too many for just one part so here are two! The parts are in genre progression with house and club mostly in Part 1 and club, electro, progressive, trance and even a dubstep and drumstep tune to round out Part 2. And there you have it for Q2 of 2012, Enjoy!
Live recording from the Fur The Record Catatonic 2 part 7/20/2012 held at Waids in Seattle. Waid is one of the coolest club owners you'll meet, go there and meet him sometime! Recording is local on my source, so you only get the output from me, not the other DJ's before and after me. Enjoy!
Welcome to 2012 where dubstep abounds and good electro is becoming harder to come by, but there is plenty of good music out there. The Q1 rewind is typical progression of some house, club and electro with a bit more progressive house and trance than usual, topped off with a handful a dubstep tunes. Enjoy!
This is the live recording from the Executive Hotel & Convention Center in Vancouver, BC on Saturday night 3/10/2012 during the first ever VancouFur where I was Guest of Honor. Bonus recroding of Tibolf immediately following me.
This is the live recording from the main ballroom of the San Jose Convention Center on Sunday night 1/15/2012 of performances by FurTheRecord DJ's Akonite, EarVelvet, DJ Recca and Tibolf. The first half of the recording is a tag-team set between DJ Akonite from Vancouver, BC and EarVelvet. The second half of the recording is DJ Recca from Seattle and Tibolf from Portland.
Live from the patio at Brix in downtown San Jose - Frolic took over the club and packed it with all the hottest ladies, young men, gear clad and furry people in San Jose. I had the pleasure of entertaining this diverse and packed crowd for a full 90 minutes. This is a natural sound live recording as there were no outputs from the board. Enjoy!
La Nina isn't the only thing hot and wet this winter. The dance floor will be dripping with sweat from a few of the gems from the end of 2011. Electro hits gave way to dubstep this quarter and there is plenty of it in here to wub wub to your heart's content! Happy New Year!
The weather is getting colder but the tunes are not! Third quarter Rewind for 2011 is a brief 25 tracks of house, club, electro, trance and dubstep o ease you into fall. Be sure to follow along with the track listing below and pick these tunes up from your favorite media outlet so they're fresh and ready at your next gig!
Lots of content for this page! There are 6 audio recordings and 4 videos all from the RainFurrest 2011 Convention in Seattle, WA on the nights of 9/23 and 9/24. The first night was a group retro "battle", but more of a retro coop where I had the honor of helping to orchestrate 7 DJ's live to the pleasure of an awesome audience.
The second night were individual sets from 4 of the DJ's from the night before including sets with your's truly. All the audio is here, and three videos from what my GoPro was able to get on one charge.
The days are getting shorter, and so are the rewinds! Q2 is another single with 33 tracks crow-barred into just 95 minutes! Download this and take yourself through a jarring ride of house, electro, trance and wacky dubstep. There are a couple gems in here worth picking up, so take a listen then go shopping!
Out of the cold winter comes all we need for a hot summer! 2011 is off to a sweet start and to prove it the Q1 Rewind will take you through only the newest house, club electro, trance and dubstep of 2011. Pick up a handful of these to refresh the crate for the new year and try keep your ass from catching fire! Welcome to the year of the rabbit!
With 2010 drifting in the distance in the rear view mirror I figured a Q4 Rewind was almost too far gone to do. Technology and events conspired to prevent this many times, but here it is in all it's retro, house, electro, trance goodness in a single part for your extended listening pleasure. Many of my favorites from this can be heard in my last few live gig recordings so be sure to check those out. Plenty of good tunes here to have so be sure to find the ones you like and pick them up to round out your best of 2010 collection!
Two new live recordings from the Imperial Ballroom of the San Jose Fairmont Hotel during Further Confusion 2011. A tag team set with DJ Tigon from Friday night and a solo set from Saturday night. Both are available to stream from the player above or download from the links on the left which include track details.
Hey kids, what do you get when you set your latencies wrong? Trainwrecks! Yay! For a good demonstration, listen to part 1, full of retro remixes, house and club. Continue on with part 2 for electro house, progressive and a bonus DnB track to wrap things up. I considered doing Part 3 of dubsteb but I'm going to try to resist getting into another genre for a big longer... That's it for Q3, Enjoy!
Now available the recording of my performance on Saturday night 9/25/2010 for a live audience at the Seattle Marriott. The first hour was an all request retro hour not included in the recording but the tracks requested and played are listed on the set page. The second hour continued the theme with retro remixes and some new club dance remixes.
